It allows me to have 1:1 conversations. As a remote recruiter, I am unable to go to physical job fairs due to costs.
I think it is a great way for job seekers to engage with employers in a way they would not traditionally be able to. The convenience is so nice.
I like that I can be at my desk to answer questions while at the same time remain on top of my work.
I’m able to look up information on our company and open things quickly, send information to people easily.
I actually live outside the market that I recruit for, so these events are ideal for me to connect with students, without having to travel. Plus I think sometimes they are more apt to ask lots of questions that maybe they wouldn’t have asked in person.
I don’t have to leave my desk…it’s a way for us to get our name out to the different communities.
2 days after the event) Just got off the phone with a graduate who said she thought the career fair was “absolutely wonderful!” She has a phone interview with Robert Half today!
I’m a Health Information Technology student. I had the opportunity to network and submit my Resume for various positions. I applied specifically to one at Ciox Health and I will have my interview on Wednesday November 1st 2017. Let’s see how this goes… Wish me luck!
