This role serves as an administrative resource for our School of Nursing (SON) leadership, Deans of Nursing, and campus and central staff to ensure ongoing communication and implementation of key academic and operational processes and procedures are in place within the Rasmussen University School of Nursing (SON). The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for general administration of cyclical academic processes and assists the SON leadership, Director of Nursing Operations, and Deans of Nursing with adherence to all university policies and procedures. The Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in managing and communicating program data, program readiness, and policy compliance across the system; will/may communicate directly with students, faculty, deans, and central and campus staff, as well as prepare reports and manage central processes.  Demonstrating a commitment to Rasmussen’s mission, vision, and values in daily activities as well as supporting an environment of understanding, acceptance, and appreciation for diversity is the responsibility of each and every employee in our organization.  This position directly supports student success and the achievement of program outcomes for the School of Nursing on a system-wide basis. Responsibilities: The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities consistent with the function. The employee is expected to perform all other duties as requested, directed, and/or assigned. Documentation 60% Maintains accurate and consistent records in accordance with our college and academic policies (i.e. immunization records, accreditation records, contracts, expense reports). Review of immunization documentation/records and timely communication of start-eligible versus clinical-eligible students to campus nursing leaders. Timely and diligent follow-up with students to ensure compliance and completion of immunizations to ensure students meet and maintain clinical eligibility requirements necessary to progress in the program. With Dean(s) of Nursing, gather and capture measurement data to be included in the Program Performance Reports (PPR) for each respective program. Project management, report management and circulation, and frequent/scheduled communication with campus personnel and central staff. Implements and supports policy/procedural changes to ensure the success of students and the College. Maintains accurate ATI Content Mastery and Comprehensive Predictor completion records, NCLEX records, immunization records, clinical records, background records, and other critical compliance documents as required by the institution and program(s). Planning 35% A key member of the School of Nursing operations team, this position is responsible for contributing to the identification, standardization, and consistent distribution of system-wide operational efficiency tools such as reports, processes, timelines, and practices. Coordinate with nursing campus leaders and other key leaders to provide data, reports, and tracking mechanisms in areas such as immunization tracking, student and program compliance, clinical readiness (student), clinical contracting (student and campus), program outcome achievement, board exam reporting, real estate efficiencies, and procurement scheduling. Assists with course scheduling including planning of campus master schedule of course offerings both short term and long term. Communication, follow-through, and an ability to manage a project to completion with autonomy is critical for the successful individual in this role. Meeting and managing deadlines, as well as being able to balance multiple open projects with varying levels of complexity and varying levels of completion is a key component of the planning portion of this position. Professionalism 15% Demonstrates skilled oral, written, and electronic communication that reflects an awareness of self and others, along with an ability to convey ideas in a variety of contexts. Maintains an accurate knowledge of programmatic academic expectations. Works closely with Dean of Nursing as well as campus-based and central teams to support various processes. Maintains current and accurate knowledge of student service resources and policies, including: student academic support services including tutoring, community resources, learning plans, and learning center support. Reporting Relationships: The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Director of Nursing Operations.  Key relationships and indirect reporting lines are/may be established with and within the following teams: legal and compliance, academic operations, academic affairs, college operations, campus-based nursing and programmatic nursing leadership, data and analytics, finance, human capital, real estate, and procurement. Requirements: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.  Minimum of two years of administrative, customer-interfacing experience in a fast-paced organization. Detail-oriented, service-oriented, student-centered. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and reprioritize as needed to achieve established outcomes/goals by due dates. Adaptable/flexible.
