The Continuous Improvement Analyst provides the Marvin companies with timely, accurate and easy-to-understand data reporting supporting Continuous Improvement, Product Development and Operations Manufacturing & Quality initiatives. This role serves as an Operational liaison to Customer Support Services, Technical Publications, and Customers by providing timely, accurate and easy-to understand resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate accurate and timely reports (i.e. QLIK, Smartsheet, ICIM, etc) that drive action and support key quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting includes report requests and ongoing manufacturing management tools related to Continuous Improvement, Product Development and Operations Manufacturing & Quality initiatives.
Assist the organization (focus on Operations and the Continuous Improvement teams) by communicating technical information and data in an easy-to-understand format.
Provide training on the use of systems and reporting for Quality and Continuous Improvement
Will troubleshoot and modify databases as is responsible for keeping proper paperwork and documentation of departmental data.
Will provide accurate, consistent, timely and easy-to-understand responses to Customer Service, Sales Support, Field Service, Technical Publications and Customers to enhance Customer Experience.
Provides innovative ideas and improvement proposals in support of continuous improvement of current processes/systems, manufacturing processes and products.
Education, Training and Experience:
High School diploma/GED required
Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred; one-year of related experience and/or training is required
Knowledge of manufacturing software (ICIM), data mining software (QLIK and BI Publisher), and the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as, the ability to quickly become proficient in the use of multiple other computer programs required
