Job Purpose:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facility, troubleshooting, repairing, and ordering parts; this position is responsible for the quality of all work performed.
Essential Functions:
Maintains a safe, clean, and well organized work area
Provides good quality service
Timely support
Root cause determination
Good follow-up on issues
Appropriately plans work looking at all priorities
Coordinates with production & leadership, looks ahead at schedule
Focuses on equipment follow-up issues, PMs and work orders
Makes sure the following shifts are setup to be successful
Orders parts and repairs as needed
This role has two core focus areas, either of which may apply:
Shift Support Focus
Supports operations by properly maintaining equipment
Provides crisis support
Performs line start-up checks
Assists production on setup and adjustments as needed
Monitors and works toward reducing scrap, non-conformance and downtime due to equipment issues
Monitors and maintains facility equipment; uses building checklist
Implements improvements to equipment, processes, methods, etc…
Project Focus
Plans and Implements projects; Coordinates all aspects of projects from start to finish and assists in implementation as required.
Oversees Contractors; coordinate work on various projects, ensure confidentialities are submitted and proper training is completed
Coordinates MP2 changes and required inspections
Enters new parts into inventory
Establishes new and modifies existing PM work orders
Coordinates required inspections and certifications as determined by the executive summary
Flexible work hours and days
Absence coverage for Maintenance
Provide support for various projects
Education and Experience:
Two-year technical degree or equivalent Preferred
Detail oriented
Electrical and mechanical skills
Experience preferred, but will train
Electrical Competency and Safety Authorization Form completed and signed
Schedule: 6:30 pm -6:45 am
Work 7 out of 14 days! Get every other weekend off!
