Child Care Teacher

Responsibilities include but not limited to: -Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum. -Develop and implementing weekly lesson plans -Assessing each child's development and administer Parent/Teacher conferences twice per year Maintain a child friendly and orderly classroom -Implementing effective guidance and support strategies -Communicate with parents on child development issues, policies and other concerns related to their children -Report any concerns to the director regarding staff or classroom issues -Maintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and families -Participates in program areas such as intergenerational activities -Supervise heath, safety and overall wellbeing of the children at all times -Maintain certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT Qualifications -Minimum Qualifications -Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or CDA -1-2 years’ experience working with young children -Must be able to lift 40lbs. -CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
