Responsibilities

The Administrator position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a nursing home and related business lines. The responsibilities will include staffing, financial management, supervising resident care, marketing and community outreach. Knowledge of federal, state and local standards for long-term care is essential in this position. 

 

Essential job responsibilities include:

 

  1. Ensure quality of resident care through planning, implementing, evaluating, and delegating authority to appropriate staff to ensure that programs and care are maintained.

  2. Plan, implement and evaluate an integrated financial program with necessary financial controls in order to keep facility operations within budget.

  3. Plan and implement the coordination of recruitment, hiring and training of staff.

  4. Direct and ensure compliance with required government regulations.

  5. Plan future programs on growth, expansion, building and staffing by identifying objectives through strategic planning.

  6. Plan public relations programs to enhance the image of the facility and long-term care services in general.

Qualifications

Interim Administrator

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Relevant Experience: varies
  • Licensure/Certification: Nursing Home license in state of assignment
  • Current valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, Resident’s Bill of Rights, OSHA, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, Right to know, and MSDS
