This position will:

  • Perform all ultrasound examinations according to department protocols
  • Use proper imaging techniques and equipment to obtain scans of optimal quality
  • Provide technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department
  • Responsible for staying abreast of current ultrasound skill and new development in the field
  • Document pertinent history for each procedure to provide the radiologist with adequate information prior to interpretation
  • Will rotate to multiple locations and participate in a call rotation

Required:

  • ARDMS certification in at least two (2) areas preferred
  • Registration in Vascular within 1 year of hire
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation.

Preferred:

  • One-year of experience, but will train new graduates
  • Experience with breast imaging and procedures
