Summary of Work

This is daytime security position.   Four 10-hour shift work week and workdays rotate on a monthly basis.   Position salary is  $3507 per month.  Duties include:

1) Protection of institutional property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry.

2) Transports of residents and delivery runs.  

3) Providing security in living units when needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma/GED and two years of training or experience in law enforcement or security operations; or two years of college. Must have a valid Class D drivers license. Must demonstrate interpersonal skills to work with staff and supervise juveniles, and communication skills to express ideas clearly and concisely. Job responsibilities require walking, standing, bending and moving or lifting up to 50 lbs. Must demonstrate experience/skills and abilities to meet qualifications to perform duties on the job. Must successfully complete an interview, standard background and criminal background check.
