Patient Care Tech (Hospital Nursing Units)

Seeking enthusiastic Patient Care Techs who are committed to delivering great patient care to hospital patients.  This is a great opportunity to work alongside clinicians in an acute-care setting.  Opportunities are available in our Medical-Surgical and Critical Care units as well as our Float Team.  Submit an application and talk to our recruiter about what may be the best fit for you!
 
Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN Available! Dayshift & Nightshift!
 
Required Education/Training: Unlicensed Assistive Personnel training or the training requirements will be waived if an employee demonstrates competency in the content areas required by regulatory requirements; in the duties specific to their job and the patient population assigned; or meets one of the requirements as defined below:
  • Was a professional nursing or practical nursing licensure candidate who has failed to pass the state licensure examinations in the past three (3) years; or
  • Is enrolled in a professional or practical nursing education program and has completed the fundamentals of nursing course; or
  • Possesses current certification as a nursing assistant per Missouri state regulations (Missouri C.N.A.); or
  • Has documented education as an emergency medical technician, medical assistant or surgical technician; or
  • Has two (2) years' documented experience as a nurse assistant in the past three (3) years (e.g. has worked as and can provide an out of state nursing assistant certification or PCT training course); or
  • Has completed a professional or licensed practical nursing program outside of the United States and is awaiting licensure examination in this country
Required Certification: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
