The legal assistant works in a team setting under the supervision of an attorney and is responsible for the following:
1. Open, close, and transfer files
2. Order and organize health care records
3. Summarize health care records
4. Prepare healthcare expense summary
5. Draft routine correspondence
6. Transcribe dictation from attorney
7. Communicate with clients daily
8. Communicate and send materials to experts
9. Prepare summary of outstanding medical bills
10. Prepare demand packages
11. Prepare mediation/arbitration packages
12. Prepare answers to written discovery
13. Prepare trial exhibits
We are a plaintiff's personal injury law firm with our main office located in River Falls, Wisconsin. Our staff of eight attorneys and over twenty support personnel serve clients in all of Wisconsin and Minnesota using state-of-the-art technology, facilities, and skills to provide quality legal services at a reasonable cost.
