Location: Hybrid (Home & Alsip, Monterrey or Toronto)

Summary: The primary purpose for this position is to drive continuous improvement across the Finance and cross-functional organization through automation, best practice alignment, and Business Intelligence Reporting. This position will need to leverage and improve upon the strengths and knowledge of the Finance and IT teams to drive these improvements. Four key areas of focus for this position will be:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pricing Process – Update tools and business processes to drive effective and efficient pricing to customers. Improvements need to drive alignment across the NA region and provide flexibility to handle the different business needs. Drive improvement across rituals and routines for integration of analysis into business driving decision points. Establish appropriate KPI’s for pricing and margin management to be measured consistently across the region.
• Supply Chain Process – Support unit Finance SC teams with tools to improve productivity and cost savings initiatives aligned with the Global Supply Chain priorities of improved LEAN adoption and production automation. One core focus will be on ways to report OEE that helps drive visibility to bottlenecks and opportunities for sustained improvement.
• Accounting Process – Research, plan, and implement automation solutions to increase the efficiency of the accounting process. This can be in areas of Month End Close, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or other working capital areas. Partner with Global Treasury to establish standards in line with Global standardization.
• BI Reporting – Research, develop and deploy data-collection processes. Generate BI Reporting using Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools that provide actionable insight to make improvements in all the above areas of the business. Provide business and technical support throughout development, testing, and implementation of new solutions. Integrate improved reporting and KPI tracking into existing and new routines to support and enhance business performance.
• Daily / Monthly Responsibilities – Update NA consolidated reports as necessary including but not limited to sales, profitability, and supply chain. Analyze data for market patterns and trends. Study and uncover links and correlations between data and facts and provide recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from a four year college or university.
• 1 to 2 years financial process improvement experience with 6 to 8 years of progressive Finance and Accounting responsibilities.
• Excellent analytical, systems, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, charts and graphs.
• Up to 10% travel requirements in North America (US, Canada, Mexico facilities).
