Location: Alsip, IL Summary: To ensure safe, clean, functional workplace environment and undertake the responsibility to preserve the best condition and functionality of premises. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to be a team leader.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Completion of work order requests in a timely fashion.
• Building & mechanical repairs, room temperature adjustments, cubical assembly and minor site improvements as needed, such as light bulb and ceiling tile replacements, painting, plumbing maintenance, picture hanging, sanitation support and waste disposal. Proactively identify maintenance issues before identified by co-workers.
• Preventive maintenance of all HVAC and cooking equipment within the facility including management of third-party vendors when needed to complete tasks.
• Assist Facilities helper if needed for three shift event preparation, audio / video operations, room restoration coordinated through appropriate department manager.
• Work with facilities helper for furniture moves, etc.
• Assure organized and clean storage areas, such as balcony, elevator utility room and service rooms. Manage Facilities helper in completion of this duty.
• Monitor inventory of Preventive maintenance supplies such as light bulbs, filters, belts, etc. Order and stock ahead of depletion.
• Report and communicate activities via email, cell phone / radio with Facility Associates and the Fiix CMMS APP. Host and lead outside service personnel like electricians, plumbers, locksmiths as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma and advanced job-related training.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance field.
• High level attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.
• Persistent in driving high standards and professionalism.
• Physically able to manage occasional weight, ladders, dollies, and power hand tools.
• Vast knowledge of general facilities maintenance processes and methods.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
• Customer service-oriented disposition.
• Support good personal and food safety practices.
• Basic ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to perform minor HVAC troubleshooting including but not limited to motor replacements, coil cleaning, fan replacements, etc. CFC refrigeration license preferred. 
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing work.
